Registrations open for Convene Q: Exciting new famils add to experience

Registrations for both Convene Queensland 2017 and its associated pre-famil tours have started strongly and organisers are urging business event professionals to get in quick before choices become limited.

Convene Q showcases the best of Queensland’s venues, accommodation, attractions, activities, audio visual providers, theme companies, tour and transfer operators and other suppliers to anyone who organises corporate meetings, incentives and functions. It is being held on 18 July from 9am to 4pm at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre so is an ideal forum for executive PAs wanting to source providers in one day and under one roof.

Convene Q general manager, Allyssa Eastaugh, says that while the expo is a stand alone event, participants from around Australia and New Zealand can also elect to have a deeper experience by joining one of three familiarisation tours.

‘For the first time we are offering  a tour to Mackay, coinciding with the last days of the Mackay Festival of Arts. Another exciting option is the Brisbane – Sunshine Coast dual city famil, while we are also showcasing the long time favourite Gold Coast with a Commonwealth Games twist.’
