MEA 2018 – You Learn More At MEA

Build your Skills

The MEA2018 Conference is committed to building necessary skills industry to equip our delegates for the future.  Following the research carried out by MEA on the Australian Workplace Skills Survey for the Event Industry Sector and survey conducted in partnership with Executive PA last year, the MEA Conference Program Committee identified some key areas to explore at the 2018 Conference.

The Program has a very high calibre of plenary speakers and the concurrent program will give delegates every opportunity to ‘accelerate’ at this conference.

Some of the topics that will be covered include:

  • The Event Brief – It’s a fine line between pleasure and pain, Oscar Trimboli
  • Networking & Collaboration Skills, Janine Garner
  • Balancing security, risk, public expectations and event requirements in current times, Peter Dowcra

The progressive program of sessions covers many disciplines and is presented by experts in their fields.  The aim of the program is to offer opportunity to delegates to develop some real skills at a time when we are expected to deliver more and more at events at the same time as growing our professional and interpersonal skills.
