Mark has built his career chasing some of the world’s most dangerous waves, transforming those high-stakes moments into powerful lessons in resilience, leadership and performance under pressure. Over the course of his surfing career, he has won three consecutive Oakley Big Wave Awards and ridden waves exceeding 60 feet — often in conditions where a single mistake can have serious consequences. These experiences have shaped his deep understanding of fear, adaptability and elite performance.
“Your story, your authenticity, and the way you shared your journey truly left an indelible mark on everyone in the room. We’ve received nothing but incredible feedback from the audience.”
— Red Bull
On stage, Mark combines breathtaking surf footage with practical, actionable strategies that empower audiences to face fear, embrace change and perform when it matters most. His clients range from global technology leaders like Google and SAP to international sporting teams, Olympic coaches and even primary school students. No matter the audience, his blend of adrenaline-fuelled storytelling, relatable humour and tangible takeaways leaves a lasting impact.
Beyond the waves and world stages, Mark is a proud father of two young daughters. Balancing monster swells with school drop-offs and bedtime stories gives him a grounded perspective and a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
“Turning fear into excitement, drive, motivation and not letting it govern your life — no one knows that better than Mark.”
— Chris Hemsworth
