Whether you’re a die-hard fan or not, most EAs probably wouldn’t mind finding out what it’s like being an assistant for one of the world’s biggest pop stars… Well, now’s your chance!

Taylor Swift’s former assistant Heather Wirth has revealed what it’s like to work with the Grammy-winning artist in the new Discovery+ docuseries, Taylor Swift Vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood.

The show explores the feud between the pop queen and the music executive, which intensified when Braun bought Taylor’s masters from her previous record label. At this point she started re-recording her albums, taking back control of her music.

Heather, whose LinkedIn profile states she had “the pleasure of being a Celebrity Personal Assistant to a world known #1 pop artist, Taylor Swift”, describes her boss as being “very down to earth” with “no fakeness.” She adds that “everything is very genuine, very real.”

She also explained that the star doesn’t rush into trusting others: “It takes a while for Taylor to let her guard down. When I worked with her, it took her a while with me. At the end of the day, Taylor is just a normal person, just like you and me.”

Heather’s role took her all over the world as Taylor toured, and she boasts some pretty unique, star-studded PA memories: “There was one time where I was travelling with her on her tour and she was sitting in the back of her plane, I could hear her just throwing words together and basically in front of me, she ended up writing Ready For It.”

Since her time with Taylor, Heather has been a PA to several other artists.
