Taxpaying robots welcome?

Recent research from project management software company Workfront suggests three in four UK workers welcome the rise of robotics in the workplace. Respondents praised automation for giving teams a chance to think of work in new and innovative ways, plus giving staff an opportunity to learn new things with time freed up by automation. However, 92 percent of respondents agreed that no matter how sophisticated AI becomes, there’ll always be a need for human touch – and that’s something EAs can certainly relate to! Interestingly, more than half of working Brits (and Microsoft founder Bill Gates) believe that robots should pay tax – and close to a third would be happy to have a robot boss.
