PA claims $60,000 in unpaid wages

An alleged email from Sarah Ferguson’s former PA claims he is owed nearly $60,000 in unpaid wages

An email allegedly from the ex-PA of British author Sarah Ferguson (formerly the Duchess of York and ex-wife of Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor) claiming he was owed almost $60,000 in unpaid wages has been leaked.

According to Sky News, the email was sent by John O’Sullivan to Prince Andrew’s private secretary Amanda Thirsk on 17 February 2011 – and was found on Jeffrey Epstein’s desk in 2015. It was discovered when US photographer Christopher Anderson was assigned to photograph the convicted paedophile – who has been publicly associated with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor – for New York Magazine.

Anderson uploaded the previously unseen photographs last month, showing the printed email placed on Epstein’s desk alongside folders and other documents.

The email outlined O’Sullivan’s financial situation: “I have expressed my concern to you that despite all our concerted efforts I still remain unpaid.”

“The financial arrangements have been agreed directly between the Duke, the Duchess and I for some two months. Yet from what I understand there is no plan in place to pay me the $59,933 I am now clearly owed.”

O’Sullivan stated he had agreed to reduce the amount owed from $72,596 to $59,933 “in order to reach an agreement with the Duke and Duchess.”

The email indicated Ferguson had twice confirmed the reduced amount was acceptable to both her and her former husband.

O’Sullivan wrote he “did not waive my right to receive this money lightly given the debts incurred as a result of this non-payment and resulting struggle I have endured to try and support myself and pay for my MBA course at Columbia.”

Sky News also reported that in March 2011, Ferguson received financial help from Epstein, who gave O’Sullivan £15,000. Epstein is said to have made the arrangements through Andrew’s office and then directly with O’Sullivan.

Ferguson issued a public apology at the time, calling accepting money from Epstein a “gigantic error of judgement.”

It remains unclear why the 2011 email was on Epstein’s desk when Anderson photographed it in 2015, approximately four years after it was sent.

As a result of renewed scrutiny over her Epstein connections, Ferguson has been dropped by multiple charities and King Charles has stripped her of the Duchess of York title.
