Lonestar Hotel and Restaurant, Barbados

Glenroy Marshall, number one concierge host at Lone Star Hotel and Restaurant in Barbados recommends his favourite dining spots around the resort.

The Cliff
Often listed as one of the best restaurants in the world, the interior, food and atmosphere certainly lives up to expectations here. Chef Paul Owens has created the most amazing menu and it’s the perfect place to take business guests – you’ll certainly wow them with the spectacular setting, cuisine and service. Definitely not to be missed.

The Cliff Beach Club
Wine and dine guests alongside the coolest crowd in Barbados – with a more relaxed and laid-back vibe than its sister restaurant, The Cliff, this venue boasts an amazing choice of seafood dishes, as well as delicious pasta, steaks and burgers. The cocktail menu is sublime and don’t forget to check out the non-alcoholic drinks, too. The space is tiered over four levels and is said to boast the best views in Barbados.

The Tides
Located on the West Coast, Tides was once a classic Barbadian seaside home, built after the Second World War with coral stone and mahogany. Great for small or large parties, its décor is magnificent and the food and drink menus are incredible. Enjoy the water’s edge view and the second to none service. It’s a great spot for lunch and dinner, so whatever the time of day you to need to entertain your guests, Tides is a great location.

Cin Cin By The Sea
The ambience here is one of the best in Barbados. The menu is great and there are a fabulous range of dishes to choose from – you’ll find something here for every taste and it’s priced just right. Cin Cin serves an amazing Sunday lunch and the live music is always good. There’s very cool bar for pre- and post-dinner drinks too – the perfect people-watching spot!

Lone Star
Located on the breathtakingly beautiful Platinum Coast, our Lone Star Restaurant is renowned for its idyllic setting, buzzy yet laid-back atmosphere and celebrity clientele. The menu combines fusion fare with Caribbean influences – and there are also wood-fired pizzas. The new cocktail lounge is the ideal spot to gaze at the beautiful beach and, if you need a good spot for a breakfast meeting, this is the number one choice.
