Tony Robbins, celebrated life and business strategist, author and speaker.

Like most of us, EAs are time-poor and every minute counts. Since reading while driving would be extremely frowned upon, highly effective EAs must find alternative ways to optimise their time. Luckily, podcasts and audiobooks are readily available through many podcast apps and are growing exponentially in Australia, making them easily accessible in the car, on public transport or even when exercising outdoors.

According to Statista.com, Australians are now the world’s most avid podcast listeners. In 2023, listenership in Australia was the highest ever recorded, climbing to 43 per cent. This was nearly double the share of monthly podcast listeners in Australia five years before.

While this growth is partially due to the surge in consumption between 2020 and 2021, the figure is increasing at approximately 3% per year. This means that by 2030, more than two-thirds of the population Down Under could be monthly podcast users.
