Fortress Melbourne is the southern hemisphere’s largest gaming space and will host the Event Organisers Summit on the 29 October.
Fortress Melbourne, inside Emporium Melbourne, offers 2,700 square metres of space for corporate functions, product launches and social events, with capacity for up to 1,000 standing guests across the venue.
Its Arena is equipped for esports tournaments, live broadcasts and presentations. Facilities include a 200-seat retractable grandstand, a stage accommodating two teams of six players, a 400-inch LED screen and a dedicated production suite with 15 cameras.
The Tavern provides a medieval fantasy setting with capacity for up to 400 people. The restaurant and bar includes VIP console booths and areas for tabletop gaming, giving organisers options for interactive activities alongside food and drinks.
The basement offers further spaces for private hire. The neon-lit Arcades can accommodate 80 guests for cocktail functions, while the entire basement level can host up to 600 people for larger networking events and parties.
Across the venue, facilities include 160 gaming PCs, customisable LED lighting and outstanding in-house audiovisual.
Organised by Executive PA Media, the Event Organisers Summits are free but qualified, fully catered single days of networking with colleagues and selected suppliers, plus a seminar program of presenters and experts to keep you ahead in the business of events.
