Welcome back to another week of Executive PA on tour! Currently, I’m resting up after a long week of shows in the regional country town of Charleville. This little gem is the heart of regional Queensland and is simplicity personified — a nice break from the cityscape I’m so used to living in.

But next up on the tour schedule we’ve got a show in Longreach and there were a couple of event offerings I wanted to highlight in this quaint country town.

The Welcome Home

Starlight’s Cruise Experience

If you’re taking a trip to Longreach for work, make sure to leave a little time to play. The Thomson River Cruise is one of Longreach’s famed attractions and is a must-do for anyone visiting. Either enjoy the cruise on the only paddle-wheeler west of the Great Divide or the historic Thomson Princess Riverboat and enjoy the scenic views. Revel in the magic as the bush is illuminated by the Starlight’s Spectacular Sound & Light Picture Show – a unique big-screen presentation featuring the Kinnon family and locals in the amazing adventures of the notorious cattle thief known as ‘Captain Starlight’.
