A PA in Ireland who stole more than a million Euros from her employers over a 14-year period had pleaded guilty to theft charges relating to 660 fraudulent cheques in her bank account. Siobhan Macguire shelled out on her mortgage, holidays and children whilst working as a shared secretary and PA.
Meanwhile, a former PA in America has been accused of a similar crime. Working from her executive’s home, the PA netter almost half a million dollars from her boss over a 29-month period through 57 unauthorised withdrawals.
