I am privileged to have been given the opportunity to review this book. From the moment I picked the book up and started to read it I found Wendy to be someone who walks the talk and leads from the heart.
Wendy’s style of coaching is very relevant and applicable to both personal and professional development and growth. Her style shows you how to break things down into simple, relatable concepts, allowing her to connect in a manner that is inclusive and a valuable learning experience.
Wendy’s use of drawing on true situations was very insightful in that it showed you how these all inter-relate with work, life, and parenting. This has helped me to not only understand but also create an easy guide for becoming a more influential/thoughtful leader in my current position and also help others in my organisation to travel this path as leaders. After reading this book I found you don’t need to be a leader who has people under you, you are as powerful as an individual leader who can influence others.
This is a must read for anyone wanting to learn more about being a leader as well as for those who already hold these positions.
