Personal Assistants and Executive Assistants are often faced with the challenge of planning and delivering various types of events for their organisations – meetings, conferences, receptions and dinners etc. This task requires considered responses to a range of questions including: What venue will best suit the event? How should the program flow and what should the program contain? What suppliers will be needed and how should these be selected? How should the venue be laid out and themed? How should the tasks needed to make the event a reality be scheduled so it is ready to be delivered on the date required? What are the risks associated with the event and how should these be managed?
Event Training Australia’s (ETA) four-day Executive Certificate in Event Management has been developed to assist those organising events in answering these and other key questions linked to the task of managing events. Attended to date by over 4000 people in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Southeast Asia from some of the world’s largest companies, as well as government agencies, NGOs and charities, this short course program has been designed with both those new to the field and those with experience in the area in mind.
ETA’s certificate programs are delivered in convenient CBD locations by experts in the art and practice of event management including the authors of key texts in the area and recipients of the event industry’s prestigious Australian Event Awards. The final two course dates for 2019 are:
10th – 13th September 2019
(Sydney – University of Technology, Sydney CBD campus)
22nd – 25th October 2019
(Melbourne – 333 Collins Street, Melbourne)
