Event Review: Brisbane Executive PA & Event Organisers Summit, 27 March 2024

Emporium Hotels South Bank hosted an action packed, one-day event that had Delegates leaving feeling energised, connected and inspired. The program featured event expert, Simon Thewlis, open the event with his keynote on the Simple Techniques for Effective Events. With a fully engaged audience, the Q&A was cut short at risk of the event running late before getting into full swing. Delegate Jacquie Strudwick, who supports the President of SOTO Australasia, won 10 hours of consultation with Simon. This very rare opportunity will assist Jacquie and her team navigate their future conferences and event needs.

As the day moved into matched meetings and guest speakers, all attendees were able to engage fully without the distraction of loud music, bright lights and the overload of marketing material. The face-to-face meetings meant that all suppliers were familiar with every delegate in attendance, making meals breaks a friendly and engaged experience.
