Another year of excellence

Executive PA Award winners were announced and celebrated at Doltone House Hyde Park on the 28th November. Executive Assistants, bosses and colleagues came together from all over Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Those international winners who were not able to attend sent heart-felt videos, which were screened to the audience on the night.

The entertainment was faultless, from the opening solo violin performance from Veren Grigorov,  to outstanding acrobatics from Julie Anne Cameron, to the closing act The Paula Baxter Band bringing guests to the dance floor at the end of the night. A great showcase from Gaia Rhythm Events.

Guest speaker Amna Karra-Hassan, the founder of the first AFL women’s team in Western Sydney, gave a memorable keynote guest speech. Her message about importance of leadership in the face of diversity and self-appreciation of a job well done, resonated with an audience who had come together to recognise excellence. Australasia PA of the Year winner Nyssa Lambkin, executive assistant at EY annotated Amna in her own acceptance speech, “humbly acknowledging her peers, whilst surprised and overwhelmed” by the experience of being nominated, let alone winning.
