AIME 2027 runs from 15 to 17 February at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Building on five consecutive years of growth, it will host more than 25,000 meetings between 800+ exhibitors and 1,600+ vetted buyers. Days two and three are the trade show floor with pre-scheduled appointments, networking and experiential showcases.
Knowledge Monday
Knowledge Monday opens AIME on 15 February and its theme, ‘AIMEplify: People, Business and Impact’, was announced last week. It explores where human connection meets technology as AI changes how events are planned and delivered.
The morning focuses on people while the afternoon turns to business and impact. Expect sessions on how tech can extend what the industry does while human expertise stays at the centre.
It’s shaped by a new program committee drawn from corporate, agency and consulting businesses, including Ashleigh Cooper, group event and engagement manager at Charter Hall. Knowledge Monday is attended by hosted buyers, hosted media and exhibitors, while visitor buyers can buy a ticket upgrade.
Two new formats
New for 2027, The Debate puts a topic chosen by the industry to a panel of clients and suppliers. The Pitch gives event practitioners the stage to present ideas that reimagine the future of business events.
