In 2024 Novotel Canberra achieved Ecotourism Australia Sustainable Tourism certification, along with a 3.5 Star Nabers rating; The first for any accommodation provider in the ACT.
The initiative includes environmental footprint reduction, no single use plastics, scientific based food waste reduction and Ocean Protection partnership with WWF.
Using Novotel Canberra’s carbon calculator, corporate guests can even measure and offset their stay’s carbon footprint.
Presenters at the Summit will include Megan Gilmour, who works at the frontier where agentic technology meets human agency. She founded MissingSchool in a Canberra lounge room, built a world-first human-agentic model, and proved it inside school systems across Australia. She shows governments, businesses and leaders that change is inevitable, and that agency is meeting the future of change: not resisting it, not waiting for it.
Other presented include, sought after speaker Jason Clarke of Minds at Work, Regina Lysaught of VEE Agency presenting on the reinvention of large conferences, Big wave surfer Mark Mathews, and Visual story-teller Paul Telling.
